Karen joined Prospect Machine Products in 2012 as Controller/HR Manager, and steadily rose through the ranks of the company, effectively executing virtually all functional roles at the company. Karen became President of PMP in 2019. Karen has extensive experience in finance and manufacturing. Karen holds a bachelor of science degree in accounting from the University of Connecticut and is a graduate of the Human Resource Management Certificate Program of St. Joseph’s University in West Hartford, CT.
Karen is an avid outdoor enthusiast. She enjoys ultrarunning, boating, hiking, water and snow skiing, gardening, and doing her lumberjack chores such as cutting, splitting, stacking and burning wood. She is also what we like to call a hobby farmer, especially because she gets to snuggle baby goats every day. If she’s stuck inside, she enjoys playing piano, felting, cross-stitch, cooking and reading. She has a loveable black lab puppy dog, Coorah.
David Boiano, Manufacturing Engineer and Director of Quality Assurance

David joined Prospect Machine Products in 2008. He holds a bachelor of science degree from Wentworth College in Boston and a master’s from the University of New Haven in engineering and operations. Additionally, David is a Six Sigma Black Belt. David’s experience resides in tool design, CAD, transfer press operations, and deep draw metal forming.
David is founder Michael Pugliese’s grandson, and spent his school breaks working alongside Michael and learning the deep draw stamping trade. Today, Dave is the co-chair for the Advanced Manufacturing Center at Naugatuck Valley Community College. David has a love of canine companions and outdoor adventure. He fosters and rescues Australian Cattle Dogs and spends his free time riding Adventure Bikes and organizing off-road riding events. He has climbed Yosemite’s El Capitan’s West Buttress in one day, has traveled the world, and lived in Thailand for a time.
Nicole Spaeth, Sales Manager

Nicole joined Prospect Machine Products as Sales Manager in 2020. She possesses over 10 years of experience in technical sales with a history of working in the industrial manufacturing industry. Nicole has a bachelor of arts degree from Central Connecticut State University.
Nicole is a wanderlust and has been all over the globe and has lived in the Black Forest region of Germany. Her favorite place in the world is a tiny fairytale village in France called Riquewihr - an inspiration for “Beauty and the Beast”. In her free time she enjoys cooking up new recipes, entertaining, dining out, drawing, camping, and spending time with her two young children, Luka and Emilia.
Kate Wall, Office Manager

Kate has been a loyal PMP team member since 2012, when she was hired as General Clerk. In 2019, Kate was promoted to Office Manager. Kate oversees customer service, accounts receivable, accounts payable and shipping.
Kate has been teaching fourth grade religious education at her church for nearly 30 years and has also been involved in Cub scouts and Girl scouts. Kate enjoys cross-stitch and quilting and likes finding and making quick tasty dishes that are enjoyed by all. Kate looks forward to going on a yearly pilgrimage to Myrtle Beach, just sitting and reading poolside with no schedule except her inner clock, or walking on the beach with the sand between her toes.
Peter Clark, Warehouse Manager

Peter joined Prospect Machine Products in 2019. He maintains the integrity of the warehouse and gets shipments in and out the door. He manages scrap material, physical inventory counts and lot traceability.
Peter has been an avid upland and waterfowl bird hunter and motorcyclist. He likes to fly fish, ski, ice climb, hike, bicycle, kayak, and sail. Peter is a certified scuba diver and boating navigation instructor. He has a passion for driving high-horsepower cars on road racing tracks and watching Formula One racing. Peter is an avid cook and enjoys preparing fish and game dishes.
Michael Thornton, Manufacturing Supervisor

Michael joined Prospect Machine Products in 1987. Michael is a 1985 graduate of Warren F. Kaynor Technical High School in Waterbury, Connecticut. Michael graduated at the top of his class and completed his state-sponsored apprenticeship in 1989 at Prospect Machine Products. He brings over 35 years of valuable experience to PMP.
Mike has a love for ATV riding and is just an all-around outdoorsman. He has great love for his dog, Willy a southern rescue.
George Lee, Manufacturing Supervisor II

George joined Prospect Machine Products in 1999 as an apprentice. He is a graduate of Warren F. Kaynor Technical High School in Waterbury, Connecticut. With over 20 years of experience, he brings exceptional knowledge and know-how to the tool building and deep draw stamping process.
George is fond of working on quads and dirt bikes and has an even better time riding them. He is a whiskey enthusiast and enjoys long walks on the beach.
Daniel Sampieri, Toolmaker
Danny joined Prospect Machine Products in 2001 as an apprentice through the Apprenticeship program. With 20 years of experience, he brings exceptional knowledge and know-how to the tool building and deep draw stamping process.
Danny enjoys the nightlife scene and hanging with his buddies. He looks forward to traveling to Maine every chance he gets where he has fun camping and quad riding (and crashing it). He has a Pitbull pup named Eli.
Jacquelin Bendlak, Machine Operator
Jackie joined Prospect Machine Products in 2020. She started working in machine shops at the age of 18. She possesses over 16 years of experience as a career machine operator. She keeps our machines running and our shop tidy.
In her free time, you can find Jackie spending time with her nieces and nephews or taking photographs of nature. She likes to go walking and experience the beauty of sunrises, sunsets, flowers, birds, waterfalls and beaches.
Luis Torres, Toolmaker
Luis joined Prospect Machine Products as an apprentice in 2017. He is a recent graduate of the Connecticut Department of Labor Apprenticeship Program. Luis is also a valued toolmaker here at PMP.
While not busy with work, Luis likes to spend time with his family and friends. He enjoys catching up on some zZzs whenever he has some free time.
